Al-Khalili: Continued occupation, violations and crimes undermine Palestinian women's gains and rightsالخليلي: استمرار الاحتلال وانتهاكاته وجرائمه تقوض مكتسبات وحقوق المرأة الفلسطينية.

Al-Khalili held a meeting with a number of civil society organizations represented by the MIFTAH Foundation, the Women's Centre for Legal and Social Guidance, the Centre for Women's Studies and the Coordinator of the 1325 Coalition of Civil Society, as part of the 30-year review of the State of Palestine report on progress in the implementation and Platform for Action of the Beijing Declaration.

Ms. Al-Khalili stressed during the meeting that the continued occupation and its crimes, in particular the crime of genocide, undermined the gains and rights of women. And, stressed the importance of intensifying efforts and employ the State of Palestine's reports to international bodies to expose the crimes of occupation and hold it accountable for its genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

She also noted that the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip, and the serious escalation in the West Bank is deepening the suffering of Palestinian women who were subjected to complex and serious violations. And, that this reality requires greater cooperation and coordination among all political and social components.

Moreover, she stressed that the preparation of the Beijing 30 + report comes in the light of Israel's continued occupation of genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 up to date. And, the increase of violations of killings and arrests in the West Bank and actions to Judaize Jerusalem to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian State with Jerusalem as its capital.

In turn, the Director-General of Planning and Policy Mr. Amin Assy reviewed the methodology of the report's work and the critical areas of concern covered by the Beijing Platform for Action, namely women and the economy, the girl child, violence against women, women and the environment, education and training of women, women's human rights, women and armed conflict, institutional mechanisms, women and the media, women and health, women in power and decision-making, and poverty.

أكدت وزيرة شؤون المرأة منى الخليلي على ان استمرار الاحتلال وجرائمه وخصوصا جريمة الابادة الجماعية تقوض مكتسبات وحقوق المرأة. واكدت الخليلي على أهمية تكثيف الجهود وتوظيف التقارير التي تقدمها دولة فلسطين للهيئات الدولية لفضح جرائم الاحتلال ولمحاسبته على ما يقترفه من ابادة جماعية ضد الشعب الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة. 

جاء ذلك خلال لقاء الوزيرة الخليلي عددا من مؤسسات المجتمع المدني تمثل في مؤسسة مفتاح و مركز المرأة للارشاد القانوني والاجتماعي ومركز دراسات المرأة ومنسقة إئتلاف 1325 للمجتمع المدني، في إطار مراجعة تقرير دولة فلسطين عن التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ إعلان ومنهاج عمل بيجين بعد 30 عاماً. خصوصا ان التقرير يتناول التقدم والاجراءات والتدابير التي اتخذتها دولة فلسطين في مجال النهوض بالمرأة وتحديداً في مجال المساواة بين الحنسين، والحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للمرأة الفلسطينية.

وأشارت الخليلي إلى أن ما يواجهه شعبنا من حرب إبادة في قطاع غزة وتصعيد خطير في الضفة الغربية يعمّق المعاناة لدى النساء الفلسطينيات اللواتي يتعرضن الى انتهاكات مركبّة وخطيرة. وأكدت الخليلي أن هذا الواقع يتطلب منا جميعا مزيدا من التعاون والتنسيق بين مختلف المكونات السياسية والاجتماعية.

وأكدت الوزيرة الخليلي أن إعداد تقرير بيجين 30+ يأتي في ظل استمرار الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بارتكاب جريمة الإبادة الجماعية ضد شعبنا في قطاع غزة منذ السابع من أكتوبر 2023 وحتى الآن، وزيادة وتيرة الانتهاكات من قتل واعتقال في الضفة واحراءات تهويد القدس لمنع إقامة الدولة الفلسطينية وعاصمتها القدس

وبدوره استعرض مدير عام التخطيط والسياسات أمين عاصي منهجية عمل التقرير ومجالات الأهتمام الحاسمة التي يغطيها منهاج عمل بيجين والمتمثلة بالمرأة والاقتصاد، الطفلة، العنف ضد المرأة، المرأة والبيئة،تعليم المرأة وتدريبها،حقوق الانسان للمرأة، المرأة والنزاع المسلح، الآليات المؤسسية، المرأة ووسائل الإعلام، المرأة والصحة، المرأة في السلطة وصنع القرار، المرأة والفقر.
