The Minister of Women’s Affairs, Dr. Amal Hamad, met with Mr. Fawaz Abu Zer, Vice-President of the Land and Water Settlement Commission, and a delegation of the International Bank, in order to discuss future and joint cooperation mechanisms to work on women's empowerment issues.

Dr. Hamad confirmed that the Ministry of Women’s Affairs have adopted a strategic approach that lays the foundation for genuine integration of women’s empowerment issues, which must lead to a strategic partnership towards achieving development. Thus, the responsibility for bridging these gaps is not only a responsibility of the ministry, but also, a shared collective responsibility for all institutions working in all sectors. 

Therefore, we are working to expand this partnership with most important state institutions, to ensure women’s land ownership right, and to enable them to exercise their role and right naturally.
