The Minister of Women’s Affairs: Settlement and Settlers Terrorism Affect all Rights of Palestinian Women.

Ms. Muna Al-Khalili, the Minister of Women’s Affairs stressed during her meeting with Mr. Moyad Sha’ban, the head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission in her office in Ramallah for strengthening cooperation between the two parties, the need to strengthen the resilience of Palestinian people, particularly Palestinian women in camps, villages and cities despite all challenges. 

She also said that the government will employ all potential to support the resilience of Palestinian people, rehabilitate and reconstruct what had been destroyed and demolished and document and submit all Israeli violations and crimes to the international court of justice.

On his part, Mr. Sha’ban stressed the need to work jointly in order to expose the Israeli settlers’ crimes against Palestinian houses, lands, farmers and women. Also, the need to network with all civil and international society institutions, and that the commission is ready to support this process with reports on violations and practices committed by settlers.

In turn, Mr. Al Deek stressed as well the importance of team work in such matter, and the need to prepare reports and intensify field efforts, in order to, show the real picture of settlement and occupation violations and their impact on Palestinian women in particular.

Lastly, Ms. Al-Khalili concluded, “There is a targeting of the national project and everyone must stand by his responsibilities to promote the resilience of the Palestinian people”.
