Dr. Hamad hosted a farewell meeting for Mr. Guglielmo Giordano as he completed his official duties as the Director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation in Palestine. Dr. Hamad saluted Mr. Giordano on his work for being always supportive for women’s issues in general and Palestinian women in particular.

Then, Dr. Hamd reviewed with Mr. Giordano the current situation in Gaza Strip and the daily massacres and killing which is against all international standards and laws, as well as, the double standards enriched by human rights-sponsoring States in dealing with the situation. 

In his part Mr. Giordano has confirmed that what is happening in Gaza is a crime against humanity and against international laws as well. Then he expressed appreciation for that generous gesture and for the Ministry's distinctive relations over the previous period, adding that the road was long and the effort must be made to bring about the needed change for Palestinian women.
