The Minister of Women's Affairs: the Ministry seeks to strengthen genuine partnerships with women's federations and institutionsوزيرة شؤون المرأة: الوزارة تسعى الى توطيد شراكات حقيقية مع الاتحادات والمؤسسات النسوية

Ms. Al-Khalili stressed during her meeting with Ms. Khawla Al-Azraq, the head of the Association of Women committees for Social Work and representatives of the Union and members of Revolutionary Council, the Ministry’s keenness to strengthen genuine partnerships with women's federations and institutions and that the Ministry is open to all ideas, proposals and initiatives in the field of advancing the realities of Palestinian women.

Then, she expressed interest in discussing ways of cooperating and prospects for future work with all women's frameworks to advance the realities of Palestinian women through building complementary roles and developing achievements on the ground and adopting relief projects and initiatives that will enhance the resilience of the Palestinian people, especially women, in the current situation, the war of genocide against the Gaza Strip and the political, economic, national and social challenges that overshade Palestinian society in all its categories.

Moreover, she affirmed the Ministry's willingness to engage in broad partnerships with all institutions to highlight women's issues within the national context and to give priority and importance to women's issues by touring the governorates and by promoting communication with all institutions, the Federation and various women's frameworks.

On her turn, Ms. Al-Azraq spoke of the importance of the participation of women's frameworks of public interest in committees and projects operated by the Ministry of Women's Affairs, noting the need to strengthen the relationship with the Federation, which had a clear and renewed vision and a collective base and organized democratic processes in all its branches, covering five governorates in Gaza and 11 governorates in the Bank.

She also noted, the Union's achievements in fundraising and relief provided to women in the Gaza Strip and the establishment of two health clinics and health facilities, and that they have prepared emergency plan, which included interventions at the relief level, documentation of occupation violations and fundraising from institutions and partners at the regional and international level. Emphasizing the need to listen to women to recognize their needs, she clarified that the union would continue to work in cooperation with the Ministry of Women's Affairs in order to serve Palestinian women.

أكدت وزيرة شؤون المرأة منى الخليلي على حرص الوزارة على توطيد شراكات حقيقية مع الاتحادات والمؤسسات النسوية، وأن الوزارة مفتوحة على كافة الأفكار والاقتراحات والمبادرات في مجال النهوض بواقع المرأة الفلسطينية.
جاء ذلك خلال لقاء الوزيرة الخليلي مع رئيسة اتحاد لجان المرأة للعمل الاجتماعي خولة الازرق وممثلات من الاتحاد وعضوات مجلس ثوري، وذلك اليوم الأثنين الموافق 13/5/2024 في مقر الوزارة.
وأعربت الخليلي عن أهتمامها في بحث سبل التعاون وآفاق العمل المستقبلي مع كافة الأطر النسوية للنهوض بواقع النساء الفلسطينيات وذلك من خلال بناء الادوار التكاملية وتطوير الانجازات على ارض الواقع وتبني المشاريع الاغاثية والمبادرات التي من شأنها تعزيز صمود الشعب الفلسطيني لا سيما النساء في ظل الاوضاع الراهنه وحرب الابادة ضد قطاع غزة والتحديات السياسية والاقتصادية والوطنية والاجتماعية التي تلقي بظلالها على المجتمع الفلسطيني بكافة فئاته.
كما أكدت الخليلي على استعداد الوزارة لشراكات واسعة النطاق مع كافة المؤسسات لتسليط الضوء على قضايا النساء ضمن السياق الوطني، وأعطاء الأولوية والأهمية لقضايا النساء من خلال القيام بجولات في المحافظات ومن خلال تعزيز التواصل مع كافة المؤسسات والاتحاد والاطر النسوية المختلفة.
ومن جانبها تحدثت الازرق عن أهمية مشاركة الأطر النسوية ذات الطابع الجماهيري في اللجان والمشاريع التي تعمل عيلها وزارة شؤون المرأة ، مشيرة الى ضرورة توطيد العلاقة مع الاتحاد الذي يمتلك رؤية واضحة ومتجددة ومنظمة ولديه قاعدة جماعية وينظم بعمليات ديمقراطية متمثلة في كافة فروعه والتي تشمل خمس محافظات في غزة و11 محافظة في الضفة.
كما أشارت الازرق لانجازات الاتحاد على مستوى جمع التبرعات والاستغاثات التي تم تقديمها للنساء في قطاع غزة، وأنشاء عياديتين صحيتين ومرافق صحية، مؤكدة على ضرورة الاستماع للنساء لمعرفة احتياجاتهن، وأشارت أن الاتحاد أعد خطة طوارىء تضمن تدخلات على الصعيد الاغاثي وتوثيق انتهاكات الاحتلال وجمع التبرعات من مؤسسات وشركاءعلى صعيد التشبك الاقليمي والدولي وأوضحت أن العمل سيستمر من خلال التعاون مع وزارة شؤون المرأة بما يخدم النساء الفلسطينيات.
