Al-Khalili in a meeting with “Tasdeer Program”: Women's economic and social empowerment is a leading way towards economic advancement.الخليلي في لقاء مع "برنامج تصدير": تمكين النساء اقتصادياً واجتماعياً رافعة للنهوض الاقتصادي

Her Excellency the Minister of Women's Affairs, Ms. Mona Al-Khalili, hosted at the Ministry's headquarters a delegation from the "Export Program" headed by Mr. Naseem Nour, Director of the Program, and the meeting discussed ways to advance the economic situation of women through creative awareness initiatives. 

Al-Khalili gave the delegation an explanation about the role of the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, as it is the government umbrella responsible for supervising the development of policies that take into account women’s issues and achieve justice and equality for women and their empowerment at all levels. She stressed that the government is aware of and consistent with the proposals presented by the Ministry to work on enacting decisions that do justice to women and protect the family, and that its directions are clear and serious towards formulating policies aimed at improving the reality of women. 

In another context, she stressed that developing studies that analyze reality is not enough to solve women’s issues, but must be accompanied by the implementation of plans and strategies. From this standpoint, and based on the Ministry’s legal references and international treaties related to women, the Ministry of Women’s Affairs is making every effort to shed light on the suffering of Palestinian women and the occupation’s violations of their rights in all international forums, as the number of women and children killed by the occupation in the war of extermination in the Gaza Strip cannot be ignored, which constituted 73% so far. She stressed that women are the most affected by the occupation and its repeated aggression against Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and the occupation directly targets them, leading to difficult and dangerous repercussions at all levels of life.  

Mr. Naseem Noor gave an explanation about the work of the export program, which specifically aims to develop the private sector. He pointed out that achievements are linked to the ability to study and resolve crises from the roots, such as the necessity of studying the reasons for the low rates of women’s participation in the workforce, low wages, and the percentage of women’s participation in decision-making positions. He stressed that the vision of the export program is that women are the basis of the solution and must participate in it and lead it. 

Al-Khalili concluded the meeting by emphasizing the Ministry of Women's Affairs' keenness on coordination, cooperation and partnership, and stressed the Ministry's openness to any proposals and ideas that contribute to improving the situation of Palestinian women.

استضافت معالي وزيرة شؤون المرأة السيد منى الخليلي في مقر الوزارة اليوم وفداً من "برناج تصدير" برئاسة السيد نسيم نور مدير البرنامج، وتناول اللقاء بحث سبل النهوض بالواقع الإقتصادي للنساء من خلال مبادرات توعية خلاقة.  

وقدمت الخليلي للوفد شرحاً حول دور وزارة شؤون المرأة كونها المظلة الحكومية التي تعنى بالإشراف على تطوير سياسات تراعي قضايا المرأة وتحقق العدالة والمساواة للمرأة وتمكنها على كافة المستويات. وأكدت أن الحكومة مطلعة ومنسجمة مع الاقتراحات التي تقدمها الوزارة للعمل على سن قرارات تنصف حقوق النساء وتحمي الأسرة، وأن توجهاتها واضحة وجادة باتجاه رسم سياسات تهدف إلى تصويت واقع النساء. 

وفي سياق آخر، أكدت أن وضع الدراسات التي تحلل الواقع لا يكفي لحل قضايا المرأة، بل لا بد أن يرافقها تنفيذ للخطط والاستراتيجيات، ومن هذا المنطلق، وبناء على مرجعيات الوزارة القانونية والمعاهدات الدولية الخاصة بالمرأة، تبذل وزارة شؤون المرأة كل أقصى الجهود لتسليط الضوء على معاناة المرأة الفلسطينية وانتهاكات الإحتلال بحقها في كل المحافل الدولية حيث لا يمكن السكوت على حجم النساء والأطفال الذين قتلهم الاحتلال في حرب الإبادة في قطاع غزة والذي شكلت نسبتهم لغاية الآن 73 %. وشددت على أن النساء هن أكثر المتضررات من الاحتلال وعدوانه المتكرر على القدس والضفة وقطاع غزة، والاحتلال يستهدفهن بشكل مباشر مما يؤدي إلى تداعيات صعبة وخطيرة على كافة مستويات الحياة.  

وقدم السيد نسيم نور شرحاُ حول عمل برنامج تصدير الذي يهدف بشكل خاص إلى تنمية القطاع الخاص. وأشار إلى أن الإنجازات مرتبط بالقدرة على دراسة وحل الأزمات من الجذور، كضرورة دراسة أسباب النسب المتدنية في مشاركة النساء في القوى العاملة، تدني الاجور، ونسبة مشاركة النساء في مواقع صنع القرار. وأكد أن رؤية برنامج تصدير هي أن المرأة هي أساس الحل وعليها المشاركة فيه وقيادته. 

واختتمت الخليلي اللقاء بالتأكيد على حرص وزارة شؤون المرأة على التنسيق والتعاون والشراكة وأكدت على انفتاح الوزارة على أية مقترحات وأفكار تساهم في تحسين وضع المرأة الفلسطينية.
